The amicable transaction marks the end ofa 7-year relationship which began when Renault Group re-entered Formula Onefollowing its acquisition of 90% of the team from Genii in late 2015. Whilst this closes an important chapter in the corporate life of theteam, a strong marketing bond will subsist with Genii continuing to feature onthe iconic Alpine F1 cars for the entire 2022 FIA Formula One WorldChampionship season.
